P721 Crack Detector Developer is a professional liquid penetrant testing (LPT) developer spray from Prolix Auto Care, engineered to reveal hidden surface defects, hairline cracks, and micro-fractures on metal components with high clarity and precision.

As the second step in the dye penetrant inspection process, P721 is applied after the penetrant (P720) has been cleaned from the surface. Its fast-acting white developer formula acts as a blotting agent — drawing residual penetrant trapped inside cracks back to the surface and forming a sharp, red-colored indication line that clearly marks the exact location and extent of any defect.

How It Works

1. Apply Penetrant (P720): Spray Crack Detector Penetrant onto the clean metal surface and allow it to dwell so it seeps into any cracks or defects.
2. Remove Excess Penetrant: Wipe or clean off the excess penetrant from the surface, leaving only the penetrant trapped inside defects.
3. Apply P721 Developer: Spray P721 Crack Detector Developer evenly over the inspection area. The white developer layer draws the red penetrant out of cracks and onto the surface.
4. Inspect: Within minutes, clearly visible red indication lines appear at the exact locations of cracks, fractures, or surface defects — ready for documentation and assessment.
